Instructional Design

Instructional Design and Support Services (IDSS) is a component of the Office of Academic Affairs. IDSS is dedicated to helping advance the school’s teaching mission by introducing and supporting appropriate instructional technologies and related instructional design services. IDSS serves the faculty, staff and students.

  • ExamSoft and Scantron/ParScore - Assessment support
  • Camtasia/Mediasite - Lecture capturing
  • Articulate Storyline - eLearning course authoring tool
  • TurnItIn – Plagiarism prevention service
  • Poll Everywhere – Audience/student response system
  • Canvas Folio – Electronic portfolio, integrated into Canvas
  • FeedbackFruits - Build engaging and interactive assignments
  • Google Docs, Google Forms
  • New faculty orientation
  • One-on-one and group faculty development
  • Zoom
  • Teams

Most of the listed learning technologies require some type of training. Training can be presented in small sessions or long sessions, depending on your available time.
