Each year the Texas A&M Unversity School of Dentistry recognizes our Distinguished Alumnus and Outstanding Young Alumnus. This year's honorees will be recognized at the Alumni Association’s Mix and Mingle Reception at Southwest Dental Conference. More information is coming soon.

Texas A&M University School of Dentistry Distinguished Alumnus

The Texas A&M University School of Dentistry Distinguished Alumnus Award is the highest award presented by the Texas A&M University School of Dentistry Alumni Association. It serves to honor alumni who have contributed distinguished service to the school and/or the dental profession.

Eligible candidates must be alumni of Texas A&M Univeristy School of Dentistry (Baylor College of Dentistry and/or Baylor University College of Dentistry) and may be dental or dental hygiene graduates.

Nominations are solicited from the alumni, faculty and staff and are reviewed by the selection committee. The selection committee is composed of the dean, the President of the school's Alumni Association board and one representative each from the 50- and 25-year reunion classes. The award is only presented if the Selection Committee determines a suitable candidate.

 

Texas A&M University School of Dentistry Outstanding Young Alumnus

The Texas A&M University School of Dentistry Outstanding Young Alumnus Award honors young alumni (less than 10 years post-graduation) who have exhibited outstanding contributions to their profession, to their community and to Texas A&M University School of Dentistry.

Eligible candidates must be alumni of Texas A&M University School of Dentistry (Baylor College of Dentistry) and may be dental or dental hygiene graduates.

Nominations are solicited from the alumni, faculty and staff and are reviewed by the selection committee. The selection committee is composed of the dean, the President-elect of the school's Alumni Association board and one representative each from the 5- and 10-year reunion classes. The award is only presented if the Selection Committee determines that there is a suitable candidate.
