Texas A&M College of Dentistry only providing emergency dental care through Tuesday, April 21, 2020
Texas A&M College of Dentistry currently is only providing emergency care at this time, in accordance with the "Stay Home Stay Safe" order issued by Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, the Texas governor's order and the updated CDC guidelines for minimizing the risks of COVID-19 transmission.
The state order is in effect through midnight, Tuesday, April 21, 2020. Patients with previously scheduled non-emergency appointments will be rescheduled for a later date. Patients currently in treatment at the college should call their treating department for emergency care. If you are experiencing severe pain or swelling and are seeking emergency tooth extraction, call 214-828-8489 to schedule an appointment.
All patients seeking emergency treatment must enter the Clinic and Education Building through the first floor, where they will be screened and have their temperatures taken. An appointment is mandatory.
Unless the patient is a minor or requires translation assistance, no other family members will be allowed in the building.
The college recognizes that this is not an ideal situation. Our primary goal at this time is to protect the health of our patients, students, faculty, staff and the wider community.
