Biography

Dr. Raghad Obeidat is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Dental Public Health Sciences at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health.  Her academic and clinical work focuses on advancing preventive dentistry, community oral health, and oral health equity through teaching, research, mentorship, and service. She works with dental students, residents, and community partners to support evidence-based prevention and improve access to oral health care for underserved populations.  Dr. Obeidat’s professional background combines clinical dentistry, public health training, and dental public health scholarship. Her work reflects a commitment to preparing future dental professionals, strengthening community-based oral health programs, and addressing factors that affect oral health at the patient, community, and population levels.

  • Maternal, Child, and Special Populations Oral Health Maternal and child oral health, oral health among children with special health care needs, and oral health needs of underserved or vulnerable populations.
  • Community-Based Prevention and Dental Public Health Programs Community-based oral health programs, school- and community-based prevention, sealants, silver diamine fluoride, and other preventive dental interventions.
