Biography
Education & Training
Dr. David J. Goydan, whose dental practice includes traditional and phobic patients as well as anesthesiology services for other dentists, has been recognized for his work with special needs patients in the Dallas, Texas, area where he now lives and works.
He earned a bachelor of science degree from Juniata Colege in 1972 and a DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1976. During both these programs, he worked part time as a medical laboratory technician at McKeesport Hospital, Magee-Women's Hospital and the Central Blood Bank of Pittsburgh.
Awards & Honors
Dr. Goydan received the Health Care Heroes Award for Community Outreach for the care he provides to patients with mental and/or physical disabilities. He devotes one day each week to serving patients from 22 agencies, who bring their clients to Goydan and his staff.
Professional Memberships
Dr. Goydan holds fellowship and diplomate status in numerous dental and anesthesia organizations including the American Dental Association and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
