Biography
Dr. Leila Nasiry Khanlar is a Lecturer at Texas A&M University, School of Dentistry. Dr. Nasiry Khanlar obtained her DDS in 2001 from the Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran, and a MSc in Restorative Dentistry in 2007 from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran. She was an Assistant Professor at Rafsanjan University and then at Shahid Beheshti University for quite a few years. Dr. Nasiry Khanlar moved to Japan in 2017 to study Dental Materials. She received her Ph.D. in Dental Materials in 2021 from the Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Tokyo, Japan. She joined Texas A&M University, School of Dentistry, the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry, AEGD Residency Program in 2022.
Dr. Nasiry Khanlar has published several peer-reviewed articles in the field of dental materials and digital technologies. She is a member of the Academy of Dental Materials (ADM), the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
Her other interests include Yoga, dancing, tennis, and traveling.
