Biography
Education and Post-Graduate Training
Dr. Hassan Shahabinejad is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. He graduated from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Mashhad, Iran; where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 2004. He completed a residency program in Endodontics and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) from Kerman University of Medical Sciences in Kerman, Iran; followed by his board certification from the Iranian Association of Endodontists in 2010.
Dr. Shahabinejad was a full-time faculty member at the Kerman University of Medical Sciences, Department of Endodontics from 2010 to 2015 while running his private practice. He moved to the United States with his family in 2017. Continuing his education, he received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Endodontics with a Master’s Degree in Dentistry (MSD), in the field of Biomaterials, from Boston University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Shahabinejad has been involved in research and has published several articles on different aspects of Endodontics. His current field of research is biomaterials and dental tissue engineering. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists.
Besides dentistry, he enjoys literature and poetry and plans to publish his second poetry book in the near future.
