Biography
Dr. Karl Woodmansey is a native of Montana. He earned his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1989. Then, after 17 years of general dental practice, he returned to Baylor to complete a Certificate in Endodontics.
Since 2011, he has held teaching appointments at the Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education and the Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where he currently teaches halftime. To improve his educational skills, in 2015, Dr. Woodmansey completed a M.A. in Education from the University of the Pacific. As an academic, his research interests are broad, with numerous publications in a wide variety of domains. Most of his research interests explore clinical applications of technology.
Dr. Woodmansey has been an active contributor to the dental profession. He is a “Diplomate” of the American Board of Endodontics and has achieved “Fellowship” in the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Dentistry International, the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the American College Health Association. Since 1998, Dr. Woodmansey has served as a member of the U.S. Air Force / Air National Guard Dental Corps. He is presently assigned to the 136th Medical Group at Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, as a Lieutenant Colonel.
