Stephen Cheff, DDS

Biography

Education and Post-Graduate Training

 Dr. Stephen Cheff received his D.D.S. Degree from The University of Michigan College of Dentistry in 1972 and was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps.

He served as a General Dental Officer stationed at HQ Air Training Command, Randolph AFB,TX from 1972 until 1974. Following an honorable discharge in 1974, he entered the endodontic residency program of The University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC) at Houston. He received both his M.S. and a Certificate in Endodontics from that institution in 1976.

Dr. Cheff co-partnered in a full-time private endodontic practice in the Houston area from 1976 until 2014. In addition, he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UTHSC Houston Dental Branch from 1976 to 1981 and from 2000 to 2014.

Dr. Cheff is Board Certified by the American Board of Endodontics and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston District Dental Society, the American Association of Endodontists and the Southwest Society of Endodontists. In addition, he held several officer positions with the Houston Academy of Endodontists. He is licensed to practice dentistry in both Texas and Montana.
