CAD-CAM Technology
Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing in dentistry provides a range of dental restorations including crowns, crown lays, veneers, inlays and onlays, fixed bridges, dental implant restorations and orthodontic appliances.
CAD/CAM dental restorations are typically milled from solid blocks of metal alloys, ceramic or composite resin. The CAD/CAM technology allows for more precise treatment planning and prosthetic design as well as reduction in laboratory time.
At the CMP clinic CAD/CAM technology is used for most implant restorations and for creating full monolithic Zirconia hybrids used in complete edentulisim.
