Biography
Education & Post-Graduate Training
Dr. Pandya earned her PhD in Oral Biology from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in August 2019 under the guidance of Dr. Thomas Diekwisch. Her PhD focused on investigation of mechanisms underlying enamel prism formation and the transportation of mineral ions during amelogenesis. Currently, she works on several research projects including development of novel invitromodel systems for understanding tooth enamel formation and guides several periodontics residents through their translational research projects.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Pandya worked as a researcher at National University of Singapore College of Dentistry and received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Mauras College of Dentistry in 2012.
