About Duane Wilson

Dr. Duane Wilson is a native of the Dallas area. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he majored in Biology, before attending dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry. After earning a DDS in 1991, Dr Wilson then completed the General Practice Residency at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. Following the residency, he returned to his suburban hometown and began in private practice. In 2012, Dr. Wilson accepted a full-time teaching appointment in the General Dentistry department at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry.  Currently as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the dental school, he also serves in the role as a group leader in the Comprehensive Care Program. A life-long fan of doughnuts and other baked goods, Dr Wilson enjoys a number of leisure activities including art, playing guitar and French horn, and working on his vintage automobile. He lives in rural Poetry, Texas with his wife, teenage daughter, a number of cats and a dog.

Dr. Wilson is extremely pleased to be a part of the Sleep Research Program at the College. As part of the team, he looks forward to furthering his knowledge and practice in this area to improve the quality of life for the patients involved.
