About Pollyanna Marques de Moura

Dr. Pollyana Marques de Moura is an orthodontist from Brazil and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Cleft, Craniofacial and Special Needs Orthodontics at Children’s Medical Center, Dallas, TX from 2013 to 2014. She completed her PhD in Science at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Department of Radiology, in 2016. She is expected to complete the certificate program in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology in 2019 at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Also, Dr. De Moura has practiced at oral rehabilitation centers in Brazil, where diagnosis and interdisciplinary planning are the core of patients’ care.

As an orthodontist, she plays an active role in screening of patients for sleep apnea and advises oral appliance therapy, if needed. She has a great interest in translational research and strong aptitude for the type of problem solving and discovery that it involves.
