Dental Public Health and Pediatric Dentistry
- To teach and continue to develop dental public health curriculum for pre and post-doctoral dental and dental hygiene students and residents that includes the core basics such as principles of Dental Public Health, Evidence Based Dentistry, DPH Ethics, Policy and Advocacy, Prevention and Oral Health Promotion, Health literacy and Communication including their role in forensic dentistry. To prepare future general and pediatric dentists in providing primary and comprehensive preventive and therapeutic care to the pediatric population including those with special needs.

Forensic Dentistry
- provide the pre and post-doctoral dental students and residents with basic practical training in forensic techniques, encourage and develop an interest in forensic dentistry and promote the dentist’s responsibility in working with the legal system.
Research Interest

- Preventive interventions which include SDF and sealant placement.
