Biography
Mary Tolentino currently serves as Clinical Faculty in the Dental Hygiene Program at the Texas
A&M College of Dentistry.
Professor Tolentino received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University
of Nebraska, Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene-
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Master of Science in Dental
Hygiene from Caruth School of Dental Hygiene-Texas A&M University Baylor College of
Dentistry.
She has more than 15 years of experience in clinical practice as a registered dental hygienist in
private practice dentistry and more than 12 years of experience teaching in academia.
Professor Tolentino is an active member of the Association for Dental Safety, Dental Hygiene
Educators of Texas, American Dental Education Association, and Sigma Phi Alpha Dental
Hygiene Honor Society-Beta Chapter.
She currently serves as clinical faculty in Clinical Dental Hygiene courses II-IV.
