Biography
Education and Post-Graduate Training
Dr. Celeste M. Abraham is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics and the Stomatology Center at the Texas A and M College of Dentistry. She received the Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park, the Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Howard University College of Dentistry, Washington, DC and the Master of Science in Oral Pathology and Diagnosis from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Dr. Abraham is an instructor in the predoctoral periodontics clinics, as well as an instructor in the Stomatology Clinic. She is the course director and instructor in graduate periodontal histopathology and dental hygiene pharmacology at the Texas A and M University College of Dentistry. Dr. Abraham has served as a clinical research coordinator in the Department of Periodontics. She has also served as an adjunct professor and course director at the Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas in dental hygiene pharmacology and at the Dental Hygiene Center at the Collin College Campus in McKinney, Texas where she was the course director for pharmacology, and general and oral pathology. Dr. Abraham is the Director of the Postgraduate International Periodontics Preceptorship where she interacts with periodontics residents from dental schools in Mexico and Panama. Her professional interests include oral manifestations of systemic diseases, and the integration of medicine and dentistry.
