Graduate Prosthodontics Program
Mission
The mission of the Graduate Prosthodontics Program at Texas A&M College of Dentistry is to advance oral health by educating skilled prosthodontic specialists, conducting impactful research, and delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. We are committed to excellence in clinical practice, scientific inquiry, and community service, preparing our graduates to lead and innovate in the evolving field of prosthodontics.

Program Overview
Our three-year, full-time program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Graduates receive a Certificate in Prosthodontics and are eligible to sit for the American Board of Prosthodontics examination. Additionally, completion of a Master of Science (MS) in Oral Biology is a mandatory component of the program.
Program Goals
- Develop graduates proficient in all aspects of clinical and laboratory prosthodontics, underpinned by robust didactic knowledge.
- Cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for clinical excellence and lifelong learning.
- Prepare graduates for successful certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics.
- Encourage ongoing scholarly activity and active participation in the advancement of the prosthodontic profession.

Application Information
- Program Length: 36 months (beginning in late June)
- Degrees Awarded: Certificate in Prosthodontics and MS in Oral Biology
- Annual Intake: 3 to 4 residents
- Application Deadline: September 1
- Application Process: Submit through ADEA PASS; participation in the Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program (MATCH) is required.
- Interview: Typically conducted in October
