Biography
Dr. Joshua Liescheski graduated UT Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School in 2010.
He worked in private practice for 3 years before moving to Tyler, Texas to start a career in public health with the Department of State Health Services Oral Health Program. He partnered with Baylor College of Dentistry in 2014 for the East Texas Medical and Dental Outreach.
Dr. Liescheski joined the Public Health Sciences department as a full-time faculty member in 2015 and has been providing public health dentistry since. The East Texas Outreach has continued and grown since, just like the delivery of care and expansion of student experiences in the College of Dentistry’s Extramural clinics. The Agape Dental Clinic has seen over 10,000 patients since it was opened in 2016 and Dr. Liescheski says he has been lucky enough to have been there from the start.
