Texas A&M College of Dentistry offers a wide range of resources to support the physical health and emotional wellness of our students.
Student Health Clinic
The Student Health Clinic is located on the fourth floor of the Clinic and Education Building (Room 433). Contact the clinic by calling (214) 828-8286 or by email.
- Hours of Operation: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday-Friday
- Students pay a Student Health Clinic fee included in their tuition.
- A full-time registered nurse is available during clinic hours.
- Provides acute and short-term care for students.
- Maintains student health records
- Limited immunizations are available
Mental Health and Wellbeing
Texas A&M College of Dentistry believes that supporting mental health and well-being is critical to helping our students keep up with the demanding pace of academic and clinical work in a professional program.
College of Dentistry On-site Counselor
The college has a full-time counselor in Room 136 in the Administration and Education Building. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Although walk-ins are accepted, when possible, appointments are highly recommended.

Texas A&M University Health Services also supports students by offering a variety of counseling and mental health options. both online and in-person.
Academic Counseling
Pursuing degrees in dentistry and dental hygiene, especially the first year, is demanding and the numbers of courses require a lot more of your time than a typical undergraduate curriculum. It is not unusual for students to have difficulty keeping up with the coursework. Texas A&M College of Dentistry is here to help with academic counseling resources.
